The Traces in Time Collection are a series of paintings representing the transience and frailty of life.
The Ammonite, one of the earliest forms of life on Earth, laid down and preserved in limestone approximately 150-200 million years ago and The Girl representing life now, in touch with her surroundings and, maybe completely unaware, enjoying a moment in time. The paintings cleverly encapsulate this vast bridging of time connecting the two in one image with the Sun representing life and the beginning of all life and time on Earth.
